I always use chess.com’s tools to analyse my games after a match to reflect on my choices and to learn. Occasionally, in the analysis, the computer suggests an amazingly good line that I wish I saw in the game! In the game that I played today after work, the opponent made an aggressive and unusual move on turn 3. It’s interesting what Stockfish 14 saw as the best response!
Chess.com uses Stockfish 12 for it’s server based analyses, which is what I normally use to depth 30. The browser analysis uses the newer version 14 of Stockfish, and it was very interesting to me that the newer Stockfish found the aggressive opening response that was not identified by the older version.
I hope you enjoyed this video, and thanks for watching!
