Amazing 8-hit combo in the Grand Prix Attack!

Although chess is a game of planning and strategy, it can also be a game of surprise. Oftentimes we can be surprised by blunders. And on the occasion, a ridiculously beautiful sequence emerges that blows your mind. Last night, I finished such a game using the Grand Prix attack against my opponent’s Sicilian Defense. This was a devastating 8-hit combo – 8 consecutive checks over 9 moves – cumulating in a lovely checkmate.

I was super excited in this game as the sequence started. Even better, the position transformed into the deadly configuration through en passant, the gangster move of chess! This is undoubtedly the most interesting game of chess I’ve ever played! Please share your most interesting or best match in the comments. I hope you found this video interesting, and thanks for watching!
